A download activates only after the signed schema-2 feed, first-installer identity, version, platform, SHA-256, and immutable Velopack inventory all agree. The installer opens directly from the CDN; no game binary is served or probed through the web dyno.

Release engineering

The client already checks for new releases at launch and every six hours. Today, an available update opens this page so you can choose a verified full installer. It does not apply a patch automatically. In-place binary replacement stays off until interrupted downloads, rollback, signatures, and user-data preservation pass on every supported OS.
